Declarado Hino oficial dos JO em 1958, com letra de um poeta grego, o hino olímpico foi já cantado em várias línguas. No entanto nas três últimas edições retomou-se a tradição de o mesmo ser cantado em grego. No fundo o hino é como uma ode aos atletas e todas as nações. Aqui fica o hino olímpico.
